Entry-Level Fashion Designer A well-established fashion company located in the heart of New York City is seeking an Entry-Level Fashion Designer who is eager to learn, grow, and build a successful career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of apparel design and product development. We are looking to fill this position immediately. Responsibilities Support the design and development of cut-and-sew garments (KNITS & WOVENS) throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept through production. Assist in creating technical flats, garment specifications, and detailed tech packs. Understand garment construction, measurements, fit, and technical design requirements. Communicate and follow up with overseas factories and internal team members regarding product development and design details. Maintain organized and accurate design files, tech packs, and development records. Measure and evaluate samples, enter specifications, and track revisions. Prepare line sheets and presentation materials for meetings. Follow and adapt to seasonal Time & Action calendars to ensure deadlines are met. Contribute to a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning, professional development, and future leadership growth. Qualifications & Skills Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities. Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic. Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and assume additional responsibilities when needed. Understanding of BASIC garment construction, fit, measurements, and standard specifications.
