We are working with a well-established (over 60 years) maker of national branded apparel including leggings, tights, hosiery, sleepwear, socks, denim, etc.) and due to growth, the company is looking for a Designer - Sleepwear & Legwear for one of their NC locations. This is an in-office position and will report to the Design Director. The position offers a competitive base salary and benefits including medical, 401K, PTO, etc. as well as relocation assistance for the right person The Designer of Sleepwear and Legwear supports the Director in the development and execution of innovative, trend-right product collections that align with brand strategy, customer needs, and business objectives. This role is responsible for assisting in all phases of the product development process, from concept creation and trend research through final product execution. The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about sleepwear and legwear design, with a strong understanding of consumer trends, materials, construction, and market dynamics within the sleepwear and legwear categories. Key Responsibilities: Product Design & Development: Support the design and development of seasonal sleepwear and legwear collections Create original concepts, color palettes, print direction, and product specifications Develop technical sketches, CADs, and presentation materials for internal and customer reviews Assist in creating cohesive assortments that align with brand positioning and customer requirements Ensure products meet aesthetic, quality, fit, and cost objectives Trend & Market Research: Conduct ongoing research on fashion, color, consumer, and retail trends Monitor competitive brands and emerging market opportunities Present trend insights and product recommendations to support seasonal line development Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Print Designers, Product Development, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Sales teams throughout the product lifecycle As
