Along with sister brands of the group, Maison Margiela continues pushing the boundaries of modern fashion while preserving its distinctive identity and heritage.We are looking for a Shoes Designer Intern, for a 6 months period, available in JulyThe Shoes designer intern will be responsible of assisting the footwear designer in creating new designs starting from research till final product.Job Responsibilities and Activities: Assist the Footwear design team with the day-to-day needs, and participate in the development of the entire creative design processSupport with the research and picture database, update collection boards and overviewsSupport the Footwear designers with stitching toiles and mockups, make stitch trials, prepare mockups for finishingsCommunicate and work closely with the different departmentsPrepare launch sheets with technical detailsAssist the design team in fitting sessions and fitting/meeting preparationsSkills and Experience :MA degree in Fashion Design. Please note that you need to be connected to a school/program, as a student or graduate. Available for a period of 6 monthsSolid knowledge in Footwear designFluency in English language is an essential requirementAdobe
