Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Sweater Designer with strong private label experience to lead the development and execution of trend-driven sweaters and knitwear for casual lifestyle specialty retailers. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys both the creative and operational sides of the business. As part of a lean, collaborative team, the Senior Designer will play an integral role in every stage of the product lifecycle — from concept development and trend research through sample execution and production follow-through. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of yarns, gauges, stitches, sweater construction, and cut-and-sew knits, along with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the Senior Design Director of Modern and Contemporary Brands and includes oversight of an Associate Designer.
