This team is responsible for creating everything from the initial concept to the final design of our life-saving clothing/products. They develop ideas for new products and prototypes, as well as evolving the design details of established clothing ranges. They deeply understand the safety needs of our customers and deliver innovation that captures our clothing design strategy and brand values. They integrate innovative functional solutions with world-class creativity to support Beaufort's vision to become the most trusted provider of safety services.You will report to a Principal Product Designer for a specific class of clothing products. The role is focused on executing and coordinating product design tasks as part of a wider design team. This may include developing and using specialist garment design skills. Duties and responsibilities Analysis of customer requirements Development of design concepts using CAD/ CAM (pattern design/Gerber & AutoCAD) Create detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and photography Participation in design reviews and customer meetings Preparation of pattern design and design documentation Support manufacturing sites through New Product Introduction activities Research materials, processes, or market requirements Support prototype development working closely with sewing machinists Provide customer support as required throughout the development process Support testing events, on-site and off-site Occasional travel to support business requirements Make presentations to present design ideas and concepts RequirementsSkills Garment/product design/pattern design Anthropometric sizing Gerber Pattern Design Software Auto CAD software Understanding of clothing manufa
