Job Title: Regional Product DeveloperWorking closely with US Account Management and the Hong Kong–based Product Development and Merchandising teams, the Regional Product Developer ensures efficient product development and delivers well-prepared presentations to buyers. They will manage product flow and action calendars for assigned segments while maintaining a thorough understanding of the product cheat sheets and menus across all sectors.This role serves as the key liaison between US clients and the Hong Kong–based Product Development team. This role requires strong and frequent client engagement, and a solid understanding of the US retail market. The role is responsible for involves analyzing market needs and emerging trends—including styles, shapes, and colours—to ensure product offerings remain competitive and commercially relevant.In addition to core product development responsibilities, this individual will act as a “stand-in” managerial Product Development (PD) figure, supporting and guiding the Assistant PD in the US. This includes oversight responsibilities such as reviewing and approving time off requests before final approval from the PD Manager in HK, as well as providing day-to-day support on client needs and escalations.ResponsibilitiesPD Process and SourcingResearch, development, and inspiration – as per seasons scheduleProactively contribute ideas and direction into the brands monthly development, ensuring newness is shaped with US client needs in mindAnticipate client requests ahead of formal briefs by tracking each account's seasonal needsAct as the bridge between US client insight and HK in-house development, sharing learnings from client meetings to influence future developmentSourcing factory newness, product match backs and materials for PD teamBring a keen eye for design forward and commercially viable product and support PD with creative and rangeAttend weekly PDT meetings to discuss upcoming schedules, tracking and actioning preparation and
