Then we look forward to welcoming you as a full-time or part-time member of our team as soon as possible.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign surface electrode ion traps for trapped ion quantum computers Perform feasibility studies for advanced ion trap architectures Optimize operations such as ion loading, ion transport, gate operations, initialization & readout Collaborating with microfabrication team to optimize designs for a balanced approach between performance and manufacturability Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine system requirements to allow the integration of QPUs in large scale systems Define technical requirements and interfaces for quantum processors based on ion traps Your Compensation PackageFinancial compensation: We value industrial and/or academic experience with a competitive salary and offer you a mobility allowance for public transport in the form of the German Jobticket.
