About us:Diadora has been in the market for over 70 years and has helped write some of the greatest stories in the history of sport.Located in the footwear district of Montebelluna, internationally renowned for expertly crafted sports shoes and home to some exceptional niche products, it has made craftsmanship, innovation and authenticity the key values at the heart of its sports and lifestyle collections.Today, Diadora is present in more than 60 markets worldwide and continues to expand thanks to a vast array of cutting-edge performance-focused products, with its running, football and tennis lines and fashion products, with its premium Heritage and Sportswear lines.Main ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be in charge of the following activitiesDevelop and follow the development of prototypes coming from designer’s sketched both at internal structure and external vendorsManage fitting of prototypes and samplesManage the defect of prototypes and subsequent samplesFollow pattern making at suppliersFollow the development of footwear mouldsKnowledge of footwear pattern making, materials (leather and fabrics) and production processes both "lasting shoes" and "injected shoe"Manage BOM and datasheets(PLM)Collaborate with the product team in defining productsCollaborate with the product team and vendors on materials & tentative cost definitionBe proficient in timing efficiency, all stage of collectionWork, collaborate and assist product team in the development of new products and affordable technical footwear development packagesMaintain responsibility for staying current in product design and quality innovations Travel if necessary to Asia, Europe, suppliers, or other external eventsSkills & ExperiencesBachelor degree in industrial design or related fieldSHOEMASTER proficiency is a " need"Craftsmanship of footwear, cutting — bordering and lastingExtensive knowledge of Microsoft OfficeComputer hardware and software proficiency as it relates to specific workFluent Engl
