Graduate Knitwear Designer

Assistant Menswear Designer This role is with a growing global supplier of private label and branded fashion products, seeking an Assistant Menswear Designer with at least one year of experience and a strong passion for knitwear. The successful candidate will support the design team by developing trend-led menswear collections for both in-house brands and international customers.Key responsibilities:Design seasonal menswear knitwear collections for multiple brands.Create customer-focused collections based on briefs, trends, and colour direction.Produce technical packs and colourways for sample development and production.Upload and manage product information on the PLMS database.Collaborate with overseas offices, merchandisers, garment technologists, sales teams, and senior management.Key skills and requirements:At least 1 year of experience in a similar menswear design role.Essential knitwear knowledge, including yarns, gauges, and knitting techniques.Strong creative design ability and excellent Adobe Illustrator CAD skills.Good understanding of commercial fashion trends and colour.Strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail.Experience working with global suppliers and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
