About The RoleLocation: HQ - Williamsburg, BrooklynStatus: Full-time/100% on-siteCompensation: $75,000 - $90,000/annuallyPosition SummaryKith Women’s is looking for a Women’s cut & sew and knitwear designer to join their team. This individual must have 3-5 years of experience in apparel design, be knowledgeable of the brand identity and be willing to work on site 5 days a week. Team player, accountable, highly organized and possesses a natural, yet professional ease at working with and relating to the needs of the business in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities: Create illustrator sketches based on allotted assortment per seasonPrepare complete tech packs across all product categories, in sketch, construction and upload onto development platform with complete BOMsResponsible for supporting design director in execution of women’s product from sketch to tech-pack through development into bulk productionProcess/correspondence production comments through illustrator, PLM platform and emailAttend bi-weekly fittings and taking notes, and following up with production matters, and processing comments per styleRoutinely update all master files, sketches and organize shared drivesCapable of managing weekly design presentation tools across designated product categoriesKnowledgeable and proficient in email etiquette for internal and external emails to suppliers overseasHighly organized and meets given deadlinesCapable of maintaining positive and professional working relationships with cross functional team members and departmentsSpecial Projects/TasksCapable of building market research reports, across designated product categories that pertain and are in line with KITH brand identityKnowledgeable and capable of developing artwork logo developments, trim developments and building trim development charts per seasonCapable of building construction specific pages for development and finishing details for their respective product categoriesRequirementsE
