The role involves constructing, altering, and finishing luxury garments to a high standard, following detailed patterns and design specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include measuring and fitting clients, performing precise hand and machine stitching, executing complex alterations, and ensuring quality control on all completed pieces. The seamstress will collaborate with designers and other team members, maintain a tidy and safe workspace, and manage timelines to meet agreed deadlines while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship.Qualifications Strong experience in high-end garment construction, including bespoke tailoring, couture finishes, and complex alterations.Proficiency with industrial and domestic sewing machines, hand-sewing techniques, and working with delicate and luxury fabrics.Ability to read and adapt patterns, perform accurate measurements and fittings, and make technical recommendations to clients and team members.Excellent attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and strong problem-solving skills for challenging alterations and repairs.Effective communication skills, professional client-facing manner, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple proje
