CAD • Engineering • Prototype DevelopmentRemote | Flexible | Project-BasedWe're looking for a Technical Product Designer who enjoys turning product concepts into real, manufacturable products.You'll work directly with founders to develop the official technical prototype for each product, from CAD models and engineering drawings to the documentation manufacturers need to build it.This is a hands-on product development role focused on bringing products to life.Your RoleYou'll help transform product concepts into production-ready technical prototypes by:Developing professional CAD modelsCreating technical and engineering drawingsPreparing manufacturing documentationBuilding supplier-ready technical packagesDefining materials, dimensions, tolerances and assembly detailsSupporting prototype development and product refinementIdentifying design or engineering challenges before production and proposing practical solutionsYou Might Be a Great Fit If You...Enjoy solving practical product development challengesHave experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, Inventor or similarHave worked on physical consumer productsUnderstand how products move from concept to prototype and manufacturingLike collaborating closely with founders and small entrepreneurial teamsAre curious, detail-oriented and enjoy improving ideasExperience with manufacturers, suppliers or prototyping is valuable, but every designer's journey is different.
