The product developer manages the development and execution of products from design ideation until final sample approval, with a focus on on-time, quality deliveries at the right cost, with the required speed and flexibility in support of the Brand strategy. This position may support more than one product category.Your ImpactOversees development of new products, from design ideation phase through final sample approvalsManages tech pack passoff at the category level, working with design and regional office to answer developmentquestionsPositions color sample yardage for Line Review SamplesInitiates proto and color sample requests with vendors and regional officesTracks yardage & sample readiness for color samples & protosCreates and maintains seasonal development trackers and seasonal cost chartsNegotiates costs and works on cost options for margin improvementShares costs and costing updates with design, merchandising and planning teamsManages all BOM’s in Centric PLMCommunicates with vendor base on any changes to BOM’s
