Freelance Assistant Designer, Sleepwear

Our client is seeking an Assistant Designer for Kid's Sleepwear to join the team on a temp basis in their New York office. Responsibilities

Assist the design team in the creation of brand-right designs that reflect the conceptual direction/business strategy

Develop mood boards and concept presentations

Create CAD sketches for line sheets with Adobe Suite Manage production worksheets

Communicate ongoing development details to internal partners and vendors

Partner with technical design on fit and execution of prototypes, assisting with scheduled fittings and necessary follow-up

Track and organize development samples, ensuring they are delivered within required timeline

Adapt designs based on feedback, incorporating for finalization

Stay up to date on competitor research/trend analysis

Qualifications:Collaborative partner with a team-oriented approach

Highly motivated, passionate and results oriented

Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Illustrator & Photoshop
