A leader in the outdoor retail industry is hiring an Apparel Designer for a 3-month contract. Occasional on-site work in Seattle, WA. Apparel Designer Perks:Remote work schedule. Opportunity to work for a nationally recognized outdoor brand.

Apparel Designer Requirements:Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required; working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Figma/Fig
Jam is a plus. 3+ years of experience in apparel or product design, with a proven ability to create and apply a design point of view to guide product direction. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage personal workflow independently and meet deadlines within a product development calendar.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to gather and apply market trends to inform design direction, with a related degree or equivalent relevant industry experience considered.
Apparel Designer Responsibilities:Support seasonal apparel design work across sportswear categories by creating sketches, mood boards, and color CA Ds while maintaining organized digital design files. Manage samples, prepare meeting materials, and accurately update PLM systems in adherence with product development calendar timelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve issues proactively and ensure smooth execution of design deliverables. Assist in translating market trends and design direction into compelling product concepts that align with category goals.
