For our Europe Headquarter in Munich we are looking for aJunior to Mid-Level Industrial/Product Designer (m/f/x)As a Junior to Mid-Level Designer (m/f/x), you will play a key role in shaping the future of an innovative, global mobility and lifestyle brand.
In our design and EU headquarters in Munich, you will work across the disciplines of product, mobility, CMF and fashion design in the international Transportation Interior Design team and make a valuable contribution to the development of the NIO brand beyond traditional automotive boundaries.
Responsibilities
Translate a genuine interest in contemporary culture, premium lifestyle, user needs and high-end aesthetics into emotionally engaging 2D and 3D design concepts
Contribute to design development across categories in the NIO ecosystem
Support research and concept studies based on user-centric thinking and emerging global design trends
Resourceful use of processes and tools for producing on-brand product design
Leverage emerging AI tools to iterate quickly and push creative boundaries
Help follow concepts through until production, ensuring design intentions are balanced with requirements and criteria
Support the preparation of presentations for senior stakeholders
Qualifications2-4 years of industry experience (agency, in-house), preferably with an interest in a mix of bothA strong, multi-disciplinary portfolio showcasing refined aesthetic sensibility in industrial/product design. Experience or personal projects in transportation design, fashion, or softgoods is a plus
Strong sensibility and skills in generating design concepts, visual storytelling, and communicating ideas
