Position Summary:G-III Apparel Group is seeking a Designer to join our DKNY Handbags division.

This role is responsible for leading the design and development of seasonal handbag collections from concept through production. The ideal candidate is a creative, commercially driven designer with strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of handbag construction, and experience partnering with overseas factories and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, brand-right product.

Key Responsibilities:· Design and develop seasonal handbag collections that align with the DKNY brand aesthetic and business objectives· Create original concepts, sketches, technical flats, tech packs, and maintain line sheets throughout the development process· Research and develop innovative materials, fabrics, trims, hardware, and construction techniques each season· Partner with Product Development and overseas factories to ensure design intent is executed throughout sampling and production· Review prototypes and development samples, providing detailed comments on construction, functionality, materials, and aesthetics· Prepare, maintain, and update tech packs from initial development through bulk production· Organize and maintain design development materials including artwork, trims, fabric worksheets, development samples, finalized tech packs, and line lists· Communicate daily with overseas fact
