Product Developer – Women’s Sportswear
Position Summary
The Product Developer plays a key role in bringing products from concept to production by partnering with Product Management, Design, Merchandising and global vendor teams. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple brands, development calendars and vendor relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day product development activities across multiple brands, seasons and vendor partners. Track development milestones and ensure adherence to seasonal calendars. Partner with Product Manager, Design and Merchandising teams throughout the development process.
Review lab dips (L/D), strike-offs (S/O), trims, and development submissions; communicate comments and approvals to vendors. Evaluate color submissions and ensure alignment with brand standards. Support development of prints, graphics, embellishments, washes and specialty treatments.
Identify and resolve development, construction and quality issues. Materials, Costing & Vendor Management
Lead or support fabric and trim sourcing initiatives aligned with brand identity and target costs. Partner with Product Manager and Design/Merch teams to support costing goals. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to balance quality, design intent a
