The Technical Designer, Kids is responsible for translating creative designs into clear, actionable technical specifications to ensure garments are produced with consistent fit, quality, and construction. This role operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional who can manage multiple priorities while supporting evolving business needs across categories.
How You’ll Contribute
Create detailed technical specification packages and review samples for fit, pattern accuracy, and construction quality. Lead and participate in live model fittings, evaluating garments for balance, proportion, and quality, and provide clear feedback to resolve fit or construction issues.
Review pre-production and production samples to ensure consistency with design intent and quality standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all technical details are properly executed and production-ready.
Communicate daily with overseas factories to clarify specifications, review comments, and resolve production or fit-related questions. Maintain organized documentation of all technical specifications, revisions, and fit comments for accuracy and consistency.
Assist with special projects, process improvements, and other cross-functional work as needed to meet seasonal deadlines and business goals. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple categories and priorities w
