Role Description This FULL TIME - ONSITE role for a Clothing Designer specializing in knitwear, denim, and outerwear is based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom, The designer will create and develop seasonal collections across knitwear, denim, and outerwear categories, translating brand direction and market trends into commercially viable designs.
Day-to-day tasks include researching trends and fabrics, preparing sketches and technical design packs, coordinating with sample rooms, and overseeing fittings to ensure accurate construction and sizing. The role involves close collaboration with merchandising, production, and sourcing teams to balance aesthetics, cost, and manufacturability, while maintaining consistency with Grand Step’s quality and brand standards.
