Working with some of the UK's most recognisable brands and agencies, they transform creative concepts into high-quality, technically complex builds through a collaborative approach to design, engineering and fabrication.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Technical Designer to join their expanding team. The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in the technical planning and delivery of creative construction projects, using their specialist knowledge of scenic fabrication and construction methods to develop practical, buildable solutions.

Working closely with the design, production and fabrication teams, you will transform client concepts into detailed technical drawings, resolve complex design challenges and ensure projects are fully prepared for CNC manufacturing and workshop production.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed technical drawings and construction packages for scenic and creative build projects. Translate client briefs and creative concepts into practical, manufacturable solutions. Develop shop-ready fabrication drawings and construction details.

Work closely with production, workshop and project teams to ensure designs are practical and efficient to manufacture. Solve complex technical design challenges while maintaining creative intent. Design for CNC machining and 3D printing processes.

Support and mentor other designers, promoting best practice and problem-solving. Prepare technical reports and present design solutions where required. Ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time and to the highest quality standards.
