Product Development Coordinator - Apparel (Onsite New York, NY)We are seeking a Product Development Coordinator for one of our global retail clients. This role supports the product development team across Specialty Adult Apparel categories, including skirts, dresses, wovens, knits, and sweaters.
The coordinator will partner with cross-functional teams and overseas sourcing partners to help manage product development activities from concept through bulk production and store delivery. This is a 40-hour per week, 6-month contract (extension possible), an onsite role in New York, NY.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered. Responsibilities
Support the product development team throughout the product lifecycle, from development through bulk production and store delivery. Serve as the primary interface between Product Development and cross-functional teams, including Design, Merchandising, Planning, Technical Design, and overseas sourcing teams.
Enter, compile, and analyze product costing information for all styles, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Support sampling processes by tracking concept samples and coordinating with mills and vendors to ensure on-time sample delivery.
Manage Time and Action (T&A) calendars to ensure development milestones and calendar deadlines are met. Communicate daily with international sourcing teams located in Hong Kong, Vietnam, India, and other global locations.
Participate in weekly cross-functional meetings to support product development activities. Maintain product development data and support related systems and processes as needed. Build strong working relationships with internal partners and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of product development activities.
Requirements2 3 years of product development, production, merchandising, or related corporate experience. Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook skills. Experience managing Time & Action (T&A) calendars to track product d
