Product Development Associate

Position Summary

The Product Development Associate supports and collaborates with Design, Production, Technical Design, and Merchandising to develop the ready-to-wear assortment while ensuring the design vision is met. Key Responsibilities

Management of product from prototype to production stage. Tech pack management. Product fittings and communication of style updates to cross functioning teams

Showroom sample & PR sample management. Daily vendor correspondence in regards development and deadlines. Working collaboratively with cross functioning teams such as Merchandising, Design, Fabric/Trim and Production to ensure product you are managing is accurate.

Qualifications2+ years of product development experience. Working knowledge of the production cycle from concept through completion. Experience with PLM systems is an asset but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to cross functional teams such as Design, Production, Tech, and Fabric. Strong communication skills with overseas vendors. Ability to work collaboratively with design team to ensure creative vision of product is obtained.

Ability to manage workload independently while adhering to tight deadlines. Apparel construction knowledge. Familiarity with contemporary fashion aesthetics. Solution oriented$70,000 - $80,000 base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NYC-based position.
