Design Assistant

3. 1 Phillip Lim is searching for an Assistant Designer, to join their team in the New York City office. What you’ll do:Assist in designing seasonal collections that align with the brand vision. Contribute to visual and garment research to inspire new concepts.

Create and update technical sketches and color up CA Ds using Adobe Illustrator. Create and maintain seasonal style boards and design decks. Assist in sourcing and developing materials and trims. Work closely with senior designer to develop seasonal swatches, embellishments, and print ideas.

Work with technical design and product teams to work on development process, and support the design team with administrative and organizational tasks throughout the product development cycle. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in women's fashion design, preferably in the luxury or contemporary market. Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office. Excellent sketching, technical drawing, and presentation skills.

Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrication, and luxury materials. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
