Fashion Designer

Kidichic (www. kidichicusa. com) is a childrenswear brand — boys, girls, and baby, from casual to dressy — with retail locations and a national e-commerce business. We design in-house and produce overseas, and we're looking for a designer to own the design-to-production process across our children's and women's lines.

Salary: $50,000–$100,000, commensurate with experience

What you'll do

Own the full design process: concept, detailed flat sketches, colorways, and fabric/trim selection

Prepare complete, supplier-ready files (sketches, fabrics, colors, graphics)Lead fittings; take detailed, accurate fit notes and communicate corrections

Work directly with our overseas suppliers through the production process

Bring your own ideas and point of view to each collection

Must-haves

Strong flat sketching and rendering in Illustrator and Photoshop

Technical understanding of body, fit, flat specs, and fabric/trim behavior (including stretch)Solid fabric knowledge

Experience communicating with garment factories/suppliers

Tech pack / technical design experience

Extremely detail-oriented and organized

Preferred

Portfolio or work samples strongly encouraged — applicants who include one will be prioritized
