Depuis 2020, La Maison Jean Paul Gaultier se réinvente en invitant chaque saison un nouveau designer à créer une collection Haute-Couture, et en relançant son activité de prêt-à-porter.
Jean Paul Gaultier recrute et reconnaît la diversité de tous les talents. L'opportunité Supports the Head Designer and Artistic Director in the creation and development of Ready-to-Wear and Couture collections, translating creative vision into innovative, technically feasible products through design development, embellishment research, cross-functional collaboration, and active involvement from concept to final production.
Main responsibilities: Support the Head Designer throughout the entire creative process, from concept to final product, including sketching, 3D development, technical drawings, prototype creation, and participation in the industrialization process.
Design and develop pieces across all product categories (pre-collections, runway collections RTW and Couture, capsules, etc. ), ensuring full alignment with the Artistic Director’s vision and the brand’s identity. Develop innovative creative concepts and effectively communicate them through sketches, 3D prototypes, and detailed technical drawings.
Research, design, and develop exclusive embellishment proposals (embroidery, prints, ornaments, surface treatments, artisanal and innovative techniques), in collaboration with manufacturers and artisans, to enhance the desirability, uniqueness, and creative identity of the collections.
Collaborate closely with the in-house atelier, product development team, and textile department to ensure designs meet the creative brief, particularly regarding fabrics, drape, fit, and overall execution. Participate in fittings and contribute to design refinements; implement required adjustments and finalize styles in coordination with the development and production teams
