The Role
The Assistant Designer is an exciting role within the Creative Design & Development Team at Superdry, will support the creation and development of innovative, consumer-focused menswear, helping bring the CEO's brand vision to life.
They will support the Design Manager and wider Design team, contribute fresh ideas, have strong product awareness and a passion for design to create commercially relevant collections that strengthen the brand. Working closely with the CEO and cross functional teams, will help deliver exciting product in a fast paced, agile environment.
You Will
Model the Superdry behaviours: ‘Deliver with Purpose,’ ‘Come as you are’ and ‘Do what’s Right. ’Support the Design Manager, Designers and CEO in creating innovative, commercially relevant products. Research consumer, market and product opportunities, translating insights into design ideas that reflect the Superdry brand DNA.
Contribute to seasonal collections and in-season projects, managing multiple priorities and key deadlines. Support the preparation and presentation of concepts and product updates to the Design Manager and wider team, building confidence presenting to senior stakeholders, including the CEO, over time.
Support the creation of CA Ds, design packs and specifications, working closely with the Design Manager, to support product development and production. Prepare for design meetings, record and distribute meeting notes, and support the wider team with day-to-day design activities.
Start to build working relationships across Design, Technical, Quality, Sourcing, Regional teams and supplier partners, with support from the wider Design team. Champion and uphold the house Design and Brand Standards, to clearly communicate information to suppliers.
Take ownership of design administration, including sending and tracking post and maintaining accurate documentation. Embrace AI and digital tools to support creativity, efficiency and the design process. Contribute positively to the team through col
