This is an on-site only full-time non-exempt position in West Hollywood, CA. Pay range: $52,000 - $62,400 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Textile Designer to join our dynamic design team. This role involves generating innovative concepts, crafting comprehensive designs, and establishing effective communication channels with production partners to deliver exceptional end products. Responsibilities

Assisting the design team in the management of Studio Woven and the Bespoke Customs department

Contributing to the development of new collections, encompassing rugs, products, and furniture

Creating mill yarn cards

Color matching

Cleaning up and resizing CAD files

Preparing spec sheets

Providing assistance with custom rug orders, including renderings and technical artwork

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Textile Design or other textile-specific course

Demonstrable creative proficiency showcased through your portfolio

Up-to-date knowledge of contemporary color and design trends

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop

Comfortable using a variety of approaches to design development, such as hand-sketching, collaging, digital drawing and more

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and dedication

Quick and creative thinking

Enthusiastic about learning and proactive in taking on new responsibilities

Punctual, organized, and detail-oriented

Capable of both independent work and effective collaboration
