Design Assistant

Design Assistant | Manchester | £25,000–£28,000I’m recruiting for a fast-growing performance and outdoor apparel brand looking to add a Design Assistant to its Manchester team. A great opportunity for an ambitious designer with a passion for sportswear, outdoor and activewear to gain hands-on experience across the full product development process.

The role:• Create garment CA Ds, colourways and technical artwork• Produce tech packs across jersey, woven and outerwear• Support graphics, prints, trims and branding development• Assist with sample reviews and supplier design packs• Research trends across outdoor, performance and streetwear• Work closely with Design, Product Development and Merchandising

You’ll need:• Strong Adobe Illustrator / Creative Suite skills• A relevant design portfolio• Good understanding of colour, fabric and garment construction• A commercial mindset and passion for product• An adaptable, organised approach
