About The Role

As Textile Designer, you will support and influence the creative design and product development process across Merchandise teams, helping deliver commercially profitable, customer-focused ranges aligned to Spotlight’s strategic objectives.

You will translate global and local trend insight into clear print, colour, fabric and design direction, working closely with the Design Manager, BD Ms, Buyers, Merchandise teams and the Global Sourcing Office.. From concept through to product execution, you will help create cohesive designs and range assortments that balance creativity, commerciality, quality, compliance and critical path delivery.

This role is ideal for a designer who is hands-on, organised, collaborative and commercially minded and perform in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Be Doing

Develop commercial textile designs including prints, placements, yardages and product concepts that support key product strategies and profitable ranges. Support seasonal trend direction for Home Interiors, Fashion and Kids, translating trend forecasts into customer-relevant design outcomes.

Collaborate with Merchandise teams on print direction, colour, fabric techniques and range assortments aligned to the good, better, best framework. Create artwork and technical files using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and CAD tools, ensuring accurac
