This full-time Designer role is an on-site position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Designer will create and develop children’s apparel concepts, including sketches, technical flats, and seasonal collections aligned with brand and license guidelines.

Day-to-day responsibilities include researching trends, fabrics, and trims; preparing presentation boards; collaborating with merchandising, sales, and production teams; and ensuring designs meet quality, fit, and cost requirements.

The role involves coordinating with sourcing and technical design to finalize samples, reviewing lab dips and strike-offs, and making design adjustments based on feedback from internal stakeholders and retail partners. The Designer will also help maintain brand consistency across product lines and support the timely delivery of collections to market.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong apparel design skills, including sketching, creating technical flats, and developing children’s collections.
