Role Description This full-time, on-site Fashion Designer – Women’s Wear role is based in Birmingham. The designer will create seasonal women’s wear collections, including concept development, sketching, fabric and trim selection, and detailed technical specifications.

Day-to-day responsibilities include developing embroidery and textile details, overseeing fittings, refining garment construction, and ensuring designs align with the brand’s aesthetic and quality standards. The role involves working with pattern cutters and production teams, reviewing samples, adjusting fit and styling, and preparing designs for final production.

The designer will also research trends, materials, and techniques to inform future collections and support brand development. Qualifications Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, with a focus on women’s wear. Experience with Textiles and Embroidery, including fabric selection and surface embellishment.

Proficiency in Fitting, garment construction, and translating designs into production-ready pieces. Ability to conduct trend and market research and apply insights to design concepts. Competence with design tools (e. g. , Adobe Illustrator, CAD) and technical specification creation.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams on-site. Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Fashion Design or a related field. Strong attention to detail, time management, and
