Technical Designer

We are seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative Technical Designer—available on either a full-time or part-time basis—to oversee product execution from initial concept through final production. Key Responsibilities

Lead fitting sessions on live models and mannequins; evaluate garment fit, balance, construction, and overall quality. Create clear, accurate tech packs, flat sketches, and detailed construction callouts. Maintain precise measurement specification sheets and perform accurate garment measuring against spec standards.

Generate detailed fit comments, grade rules, and pattern correction notes for domestic and overseas manufacturing partners. Partner closely with Design, Sourcing, and Production teams to ensure design intent and quality standards are met within target timelines.

Qualifications3–5+ years of hands-on technical design experience in the apparel industry. Strong foundation in garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and fabric behavior across woven and knit categories. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel; experience with PLM systems preferred.

Excellent organizational skills and high attention to execution detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Position Details
