Designer II, Energy Footwear Product Design

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH Collaboration with design management to actively gain experience, enhance design skills and increase knowledge of Nike's design philosophy, products and processes will be key. You'll also partner with category team members in design, development and merchandising to ensure feasibility of designs, meeting price point, merchandising needs and product creation timelines.

You will report to the Director, NSW Energy Footwear Product Design. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We’re seeking a passionate Footwear Designer II for Energy who has a focused interest in bringing innovation and style together, and a passion for unique footwear product!

This role will work with external collaborators and must have a demonstrated connection to sneaker culture, collaboration, and fashion. Bachelor’s degree in design , or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.

2+ years of experience designing and developing innovative footwear Ability to apply and perform design skills such as drawing/sketching, ideation, visual presentation development and layout Passion for Culture, Music, Art, Sneakers, Streetwear Strong Photoshop, Illustrator skills Must be able to create accurate 2D technical drawings Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials Must be able to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project Cobbling and prototyping skills are a plus 3D knowledge, and AI experience a plus Experience in technical footwear design Experienced with presentation programs: Keynote, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
