”Role Description The Jr Graphic Designer / Printer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sowerby Bridge. This role involves supporting the design and print workflow, including creating artwork for business stationery, signage, promotional materials, garments, and other printed products.

Day-to-day tasks include preparing and adjusting files for print, operating digital print equipment, assisting with finishing processes (such as cutting, binding, pressing and packaging), and ensuring artwork and prints meet quality standards and brand guidelines.

The role also includes collaborating with senior designers and print staff, following job briefs, maintaining organised print files and archives, and providing friendly, professional service when liaising with colleagues and, where required, customers.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to translate briefs into clear, print-ready visual solutions. Skills in Logo Design and Branding to support consistent, professional brand identities across multiple printed materials.

Good understanding of Typography, including font selection, hierarchy, and layout for legible and visually appealing designs. Basic knowledge of print processes (especially digital print), colour management, and file preparation for production.
