Bridal & Bespoke collection label seeking a personable and inclusive team player who is highly organized, proactive, responsible, self- motivated, energetic, with great attention to detail and excellent in communication to join the Design team in NYC! Responsibilities
Develop seasonal collections and projects with a small team
Assist in inspiration, treatments, research and sketching
Help develop print and embroidery
Getting involved with sample making when needed
Communicate with vendors and factories
Source locally when needed
With with the in-house Atelier and Development Team to make sure that the new collections meet standards
Assist with design revisions
Follow protocols to maintain a safe environment
Help preparation and on-site design assistance for photoshoots
Required Experience, Skills, and KnowledgeBFA or AAS degree in Fashion Design5-7 years minimum of relatable experience
Experience working for a luxury brand in a small and fast-paced environment
High design acumen, with a superior eye for colors, textiles, proportions and details
In-depth knowledge of high-end garment construction, especially gowns
Proficient in Photoshop & Illustrator on MAC. InDesign is a plus
Proficient in Adobe Fresco on iPad. (Can be learned on the job) Show more Show less
