Senior Designer- Apparel Menswear

Fashion apparel manufacturer is looking for a Senior Designer for Men's RTW in NYC. We are seeking a creative, organized, and forward-thinking Men’s Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Design Director to drive the vision, development, and execution of Men’s Ready-to-Wear collections from concept through production.

This position is ideal for a proactive designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and can confidently manage multiple projects while mentoring an Assistant Designer. Key Responsibilities

Lead the research, concept development, and execution of Men’s RTW apparel collections

Develop seasonal design vision, color direction, fabric stories, and item-driven assortments aligned with brand DNA Design commercially viable collections that work independently and within a larger merchandised assortment

Partner closely with the Design Director and retail partners on Private Label collections

Execute the full design process from initial concept through final fit and production approval

Create detailed tech packs and maintain clear communication with overseas factories and development teams

Review all development, production, PP, and TOP samples while providing detailed comments and corrective feedback to factories

Approve fabrics, trims, strike-offs, lab dips, and production qualities throughout the development cycle

Identify innovative fabrications, trims, washes, and modern updates to classic silhouettes

Generate and maintain seasonal T&A calendars to ensure timely execution across all categories

Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, technical design, product development, sales, and production teams

Manage and mentor an Assistant Designer while ensuring alignment with seasonal goals and deadlines

Utilize AI tools and emerging technology to elevate CAD presentations, streamline workflows, and enhance visual storytelling
