Developing knitwear designs with consideration for yarn, stitch, gauge, colour, shape, and construction

Liaising with overseas factories and yarn mills throughout the design and development process

Communicating design direction and technical information clearly to suppliers

Working closely with internal teams to ensure products are developed to the required quality, cost and critical path

Keeping up to date with relevant fashion and knitwear trends across both Ladieswear and Childrenswear

Supporting the wider design team with general development and range-building activity where required

Previous experience working across Ladieswear and/or Childrenswear knitwear would be highly advantageous, as would experience with Shima software.
