Senior Technical Designer – Walmart Apparel Experience

Join Our TeamPAR Apparel is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Designer with extensive Walmart apparel experience to join our growing team. This is a senior-level role responsible for leading the technical design process for Missy, Plus Size, and Kids apparel while ensuring exceptional fit, garment construction, quality, and manufacturability.

The ideal candidate has a strong background supporting Walmart private label programs, understands Walmart's technical standards and compliance requirements, and has successfully partnered with overseas factories to bring products from concept through production.

What You'll DoLead technical development for Walmart Missy, Plus Size, and Kids apparel.

Conduct garment fit sessions and recommend technical solutions. Create and maintain detailed Tech Packs, grading, measurements, and construction specifications. Review patterns, grading, garment construction, and fit for accuracy and consistency.

Partner with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and Production throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborate with domestic and overseas factories to resolve fit and construction issues. Review pre-production samples, size sets, TOP samples, and production approvals.

Ensure all products meet Walmart technical standards, quality expectations, and compliance requirements. Identify technical risks early and implement corrective actions. Maintain fit blocks and technical standards across multiple Walmart programs.

Mentor junior Technical Designers and support continuous process improvement. Qualifications

Required10+ years of Technical Design experience in apparel. Extensive experience supporting Walmart Missy, Plus Size, and Kids programs. Previous experience working directly with Walmart Technical Design teams and suppliers. Expert know
