The Senior Soft Goods Designer is responsible for developing original textile and rug designs for Schoolhouse, translating the brand’s distinct point of view into thoughtfully designed home products. This role combines creativity, craftsmanship, and a strong understanding of color, pattern, material, and construction to develop textiles that feel authentic to the Schoolhouse brand and complement its broader product assortment.

Working closely with Product Design, Merchandising, and cross-functional partners, the Senior Soft Goods Designer will contribute to the development of new collections from initial concept and inspiration through pattern development, colorways, sampling, and final production.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for pattern and color, an appreciation for vintage-inspired design and enduring craftsmanship, and the ability to balance creative exploration with commercial considerations.
