Expert Designer, Speed Footwear Product Design

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH You’ll be working with a fast-moving multidisciplinary team of experienced Footwear designers, Computational designers, and Innovation designers. focused on industry-leading innovative footwear. This team reports directly to the VP of Footwear Design Excellence.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a passionate footwear designer who is highly creative, has a strong aesthetic, is a problem solver, has a deep knowledge of Performance and Lifestyle footwear, and is fluent in 3D and AI digital tools.

This team collaborates with a wide range of Nike teams, so a positive outlook and strong relationships are essential. WHAT YOU BRING Design Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in industrial design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training 8 yrs experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products Knowledge of form, color, materials, human factors, related to elevating the consumer experience Ability to translate consumer knowledge and insights into product solutions and narratives Strong Photoshop, Illustrator skills Strong sketching, illustration, visualization and rendering skills Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials Must be able to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project Knowledge and experience with sustainable design and manufacturing are a plus Experienced with presentation programs: Keynote, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.

Fluent in 3D tools like Blender, Gravity Sketch, Fusion 360 or Rhino Fluent in AI tools like Vizcom, Blender, Runway or Sora Fluent in tools like Illustrator, Photoshop and Keynote 3D printing and prototyping skills are a plus Team Requirements: Positive attitude and energy Curiosity and flexibility to find, learn and share new tools and skills Catalyst to make connections with other Design groups Motivated and passionate about bringing others along Team player, and selfless leader Speaks up with courage for self a
