About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Print Production & Designer/ Artworker to take ownership of our in-house print production facility. This is primarily a print-focused role, responsible for preparing artwork, managing print workflows, operating print and cutting equipment, and ensuring all output meets the highest quality standards.
Alongside print production, the successful candidate will support the marketing team with design projects, artwork creation and the production of branded marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have experience using Adobe Creative Suite, preparing production-ready artwork and working with RIP software such as ONYX.
They will be comfortable managing projects from artwork through to final printed output. Key Responsibilities
Print Production
Manage the day-to-day operation of our in-house print department. Design, prepare and set up artwork for production. RIP files and manage print workflows using ONYX software. Operate large-format printers, cutters and finishing equipment.
Ensure all artwork is production-ready and meets quality standards. Carry out quality control checks throughout the production process. Complete finishing tasks including trimming, laminating, mounting and assembly. Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor production issues.
Manage stock levels of media, inks and consumables. Keep the production area clean, organised and safe. Design Support
Create and amend artwork for brochures, datasheets, banners, signage and promotional materials. Design print graphics for exhibitions, events and internal communications. Support the marketing team with day-to-day design requests. Prepare artwork for both internal production and external suppliers. Skills & Experience
