Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Designer to join our Marc by Marc Jacobs Sportswear team.
This role will lead the design and development of contemporary women's sportswear collections that reflect the Marc by Marc Jacobs brand aesthetic while balancing creativity, trend, and commercial success. The Senior Designer will oversee the design process from initial concept through production, ensuring cohesive seasonal assortments that align with merchandising objectives and business goals.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in women's sportswear design, exceptional creative and technical skills, and the ability to independently manage seasonal collections while collaborating cross-functionally to execute fashion-forward product.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of seasonal Marc by Marc Jacobs women's sportswear collections from initial concept through final approved prototypes. Research current and emerging fashion trends, fabrics, trims, colors, silhouettes, and market direction to establish seasonal concepts aligned with the Marc by Marc Jacobs brand aesthetic.
Develop cohesive, fashion-forward sportswear collections, including woven tops, knit tops, sweaters, jackets, skirts, pants, and other sportswear separates. Create detailed hand sketches, CA Ds,
