Designer - Girls Casual 2-6x

We are looking for a creative, experienced, and commercially minded Senior Designer who can bring fresh ideas to our client’s Girls 2–6X collections while understanding the realities of wholesale apparel manufacturing. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing original concepts, creating detailed CA Ds, selecting fabrics and trims, communicating with overseas factories, and reviewing samples.

This is an excellent opportunity for a designer who wants to take ownership of multiple product categories and play an important role in the continued growth of an established children's apparel company. Will be responsible for developing seasonal collections across all girls casual apparel categories, including dresses, tops, bottoms, sets, rompers, jumpsuits, and coordinated sportswear.

This position requires a designer who can take ownership of the design process from initial concept through sample development, working closely with Design leadership, Merchandising, Sales, Technical Design, Production, and overseas factories.

We are looking for someone who combines creativity with strong commercial awareness and understands how to design fashionable, age-appropriate products that meet customer expectations and retail price points. This is an in-office work environment, and the salary range is approximately $130,000-$140,000 based on experience.

Responsibilities:Design & Creative Development

Design and develop seasonal Girls 2–6X casual apparel collections across all product categories. Create original designs for casual dresses, tops, T-shirts, blouses, skirts, shorts, pants, leggings, rompers, jumpsuits, and coordinated sets.

Research current and emerging fashion trends, colors, prints, fabrics, silhouettes, and styling details appropriate for the girls market. Translate market trends into creative, age appropriate, and commercially viable designs.

Develop seasonal concepts, color palettes, mood boards, and cohesive collections. Create detailed CAD sketches, technical fla
